About Hopland Cemetery, Hopland
Hopland Cemetery is located on what used to be the Sanel Rancho on Shokawa Land (Hopland Band of Pomo Indians), the early Spanish settlers to this valley led by Sn. Fernando Feliz are the earliest of our residents. Sn. Feliz, after whom Felix Creek is named, is buried here (1796-1859) along with many of his family members.
